We are college students devoted to being disciples of Christ and holding the Bible as our standard of living. We have discussion groups that currently meet on the campuses of Cal Sate Long Beach, Long Beach City College, Cerritos College, UCLA and Santa Monica College.

COLLEGE MINISTRY LEADERS

Greg and Dawn Russel lead the college student ministries for the Greater Long Beach Church. These include Cal State Long Beach, Long Beach City College, and Cerritos College. Greg is a graduate from Cal State Dominguez and Dawn from Cal State Long Beach. Both became Christians while in high school and that’s where they first met. Just getting married, the Russels have a passion to see college students know God and make Him known!

COLLEGE MINISTRY SHEPHERDS

Brian and Karen Plymell serve as shepherds for the Long Beach Campus Ministry. They have been disciples for over 20 years and have three great children, Daniel, Kathryn, and Michael. Brian and Karen provide great oversight and guidance and maturity for the growing campus ministry in Long Beach.
